A Flavour of Church Life

We have delved deeper into the big story of the Bible by looking at 10 key verses.  We have considered Jesus’ life changing words in the Sermon on the Mount and we’ve marvelled at some of the miracles he performed. It’s not just words, though.  We have experienced God working in us and through us, including in miracles that are an answer to prayer.  Jesus truly is amazing and unique

We host the Befriended tea party in the afternoon on the first Sunday of each month.

Along with the other churches in town, we take our turn in hosting joint praise and prayer evenings where we pray for our town and the nation. We also share special events with the other local Baptist fellowships, Sheddingdean Baptist Church and Haywards Heath Baptist Church.

We love to welcome those who are not regular attenders to special occasions like our Easter and Christmas celebrations, our Mothering Sunday service and other similar events, and we are well known for the annual Easter Egg Trail at Wivelsfield Green.

Our calendar includes several All-Age Services each year which, as the title suggests, are arranged with something for everyone, from the youngest children to … well, everyone!
