Prayer
Prayer is the life-breath of any church. It is where and how we build an ongoing relationship with God, both in our personal lives and in our community life as a church.
Personally
Members are encouraged to make prayer a regular part of their daily lives. Help is given where needed to assist individuals in this task. Many within the membership have informally sought out someone else to meet with regularly as their prayer partner.
Corporately
A number of regular opportunities for prayer are scheduled for meetings at the church site in Station Road or in homes*.
Tuesday 8:00pm – 9:30pm
One of the regular activities of central importance for our Life Groups is prayer. Being in small groups gives the opportunity for all to take their part in seeking God’s guidance for the church and His specific involvement in our world.
Tuesday (once a month) 8:00pm – 9:30pm
Life Groups are suspended on the second Tuesday of each month to give an opportunity for the whole church to meet together for prayer. At these meeting we will engage, sometimes breaking into smaller groups, with a variety of topics of local, national or international concern.
Thursday 9:00am — 9:30am
A small group of the church family meet together, in the prayer room. We have a varying range of topics that we pray for, depending on what God has placed on our hearts. If you would like to join us, please contact Sharon via the Church Office email (seen in the contact page).
Leadership
The leadership is committed to leading this church through prayer. The deacons meet regularly for prayer and the Eldership meets every week for prayer.
